Craig’s practice engages in a discourse around modernity, truth, and the power structures underlying our society. Through painting, film, and installation, he approaches his practice as a platform for making visible the nuances of presence and perception. His works plunge us into a discourse of history, hierarchies, and uncertainty in order to observe and experience the fragments of human condition. By exploring the unknown and examining the structures of power that govern our Modernity, he provokes a gaze on reality and its multiple layers of meanings. Craig invites us to perceive and reflect the truths woven in our current and past culture.
